Eugénie Lépine-Blondeau

Eugénie Lépine-Blondeau is a bilingual host, columnist and cultural reporter living in Montreal.

After studying classical music and opera, she earned a master degree in political science. Although she quit signing, she turned to a different type of microphone: radio! First to host a feminist and queer radio show on CISM (Université de Montréal’s campus radio), and then to join Radio-Canada as a researcher, then as a columnist and host.

Since 2019, Eugénie is the cultural voice of Tout un matin, Ici Première’s morning show in Montréal. A cheerful and attentive host, she is often entrusted with hosting specials such as: “2021, en supplémentaire” (December 2021) “C'est ma tournée” (summer 2021), “Femmes de la situation” (March 2021), “Carte blanche à Eugénie Lépine-Blondeau” (January 2021), “Fière allure” (June 2020) and 2021. We can also see her from time to time on On va se dire (Ici Télé) and catch her on “On dira ce qu'on voudra” (Ici Première). As a moderator/interviewer, she is regularly called upon to address issues of sexual and gender diversity, notably with organizations such as the Réseau des lesbiennes du Québec and Fierté au travail/Pride at work.

Of a warm and festive nature, and being an undisputed fan of karaoke, you may see Eugénie hosting bingo or corporate events, with unmatched passion!
