Sophie Fouron is a Canadian journalist and TV host. Based in Montreal, she holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a Masters in Communications. She worked as head of content for various cultural and public affairs programs before becoming an on-cam reporter on several celebrated shows. She has been traveling the world since 2013 as host – both in English and in French – of Waterfront Cities of the World and, more recently, of The Island Diaries, which earned her a nomination in the "Best Host, Social Interest Magazine" category at the "Prix Gémeaux" 2018 and 2020.She is also a contributor to La Presse newspaper.
She is currently working on Tenir Salon, an original concept for TV5, where she meets Montreal’s cultural communities, in places where conversations and secrets abound : hair salons.
